Another Mini

Well I finally got around to finishing the mini quilt "Waiting For Patricia Arquette." I thought that the simple straight stitching was the best for this little quilt.
I'm pleased with the way it turned out. This is the 5th mini I've made since the end of last year.

Here is a sneak peek at the challenge quilt. It's coming along quite slowly. I will be using a polka dot print for the binding, but I haven't decided on the color yet. I have lots of choices, considering I've used every color in the quilt already! LOL
Well, I am using my scraps and that is the purpose of the group. I just hope I'm finished it time.

Oh I forgot to say, that beautiful lavender under the mini is my new cutting mat. After switching the cutting and sewing tables, I realized the old one was too big.

I really like your log cabin. That would also be a great way to use charm squares and jelly rolls. I know you didn't ask for opinions, but I think lime green goes great with black and white. It will be cute whatever color you decide to use.
