Wayback Wednesday

I know I'm a day late for Wednesday, but yesterday I was visiting the Podiatrist.
I've been limping around on a bad foot for a while, so it was time to get checked out.
Turns out I have what I expected, Plantar fasciitis and a bone spur. Ouch! So after ex rays a shot and meds I get to go back next week for some apparatus for my foot when I'm sleeping. Yea!

This is a quilt I made sometime in the late 90's. I don't remember when, but until I received the quilt from Em, this is the quilt I always wrapped up in. It's also hand quilted and I've been thinking about adding some more quilting, as it has no quilting in the borders.
I'm so happy we actually have sun today and I was able to take pictures outside again.
Spring is wonderful!

I'm not a doctor, but my advice for a bad foot is to sit and quilt!
I love this quilt. What is the name of the pattern? I haven't seen this before, it looks kinda like a reverse pinwheel.

Thanks Betty, That's exactly what I'm doing.
I have no idea what this block is called. When I made this quilt I was just playing around with HSTs. Jinny Beyer has two similar ones in her new book. One is Next Door Neighbor, the other is Millwheel.

Spring IS wonderful, and so is that bright, cheery quilt!

My doctor says 'if it hurts, rest it, if it doesn't hurt, exercise it!' Good advice, I think.
Hope it soons heals.
