Wayback Wednesday

I made this two color quilt from a pattern in the book Fun With Fat Quarters by Nancy J. Martin. The blue fabrics are scraps from a blue log cabin quilt I was in the process of making for our bed. That quilt is my second oldest UFO.
The name of this quilt is Double Four Patch, and it was made in 1997. Right now it hangs over the bed in our guest room, waiting for it's partner!
It's machine pieced and quilted.

Don't you love to revisit your older projects? It really is amazing to see how far we have come along. Wonderful little quilt!

Wow! Very minimalist, but very cool! Thanks for sharing!

I'm amused that it is still waiting for its partner 13 years later! That's a very peaceful looking quilt - great for a bedroom.
