Red and Green for Christmas?

Pulled out a few Christmas prints to work on a table runner today. I don’t own much Christmas fabric, probably because I’m not really fond of the red/green color combination.

I prefer richer reds like claret and burgundy, or lighter like pink and rose. Do you like the traditional red/green Christmas colors?

I prefer the darker reds and greens, they have a more luxurious look. I like blue for Christmas also.

I'm not a great lover of traditional reds and greens , I like my colours to have a little more pop! I adore some of the modern Christmas colours . Pink made a significant appearance at our house the last few years.

I struggle using any 'holiday' fabrics. Think is it the idea it is a piece that is used just once and then packed away - all that work and fabric just tucked away and hopefully remembered the next year.

What a good question. Not one I really have thought about, but in looking or thinking of my Christmas decorations most are darker red. I do have some that are the "traditional" red and green, but not much. Mostly the more burgundy and evergreen tones.
The past few years there has been such an array of colors for Christmas time that almost anything goes. I'm seeing more designs that say Christmas than what we've come to think of as Christmas colors.
As long as you enjoy your choices, then it is perfect!
