It’s Raining!

It’s raining here today and boy do we need it. I know lots of places in the US could use it as well. I’m going to spend some time in the sewing room today doing machine quilting and working on these blocks on the design wall.

I’ll also be creating something from the blue scrap bin. (actually this is one of the bins, there are 2)

I hope to work on this scarf/shawlette for my DD this evening. I’d like to have it finished and blocked for her to take back to school at the end of August.

Ah rain, it makes you want to curl up and finish the unfinishable quilt.

Such lovely projects. Isn't it great to have a hobby that suits rainy weather. Youre good to organise your scraps into colours, mine's a mish mash of colours! Maybe I'll organise them on the next rainy day we have.

My hubby and I have been saying we'd love to share this rain with those who need it more. This is the wettest year we've had since we moved here 9 years ago. I'm not complaining, because everything is still lush and green where it is usually starting to brown this time of year, but I feel guilty with us having so much and others not having any. I hope you had a wonderful sewing day!
