I spent the night terrified here in the foyer.

I was worried about all the trees in the back yard, not these pines that border the neighbors house!

Lots of cleanup ahead of us!

Char! So glad you are safe! We huddle in a downstairs bathroom when twisters come through...so thankful that was all the damage you're seeing on your property!

Glad you are safe. Having gone through Hugo I can honestly say I know what you went through. There is no stopping a hurricane. This too shall pass. Hugs.

Oh, so sad! But so glad those aren't on your house!!! I hope you get good sleep tonight. I never slept a wink during hurricanes in Florida - the noises the house made were so terrifying.

I'm so glad the trees didn't land on your house! I know how scary it must have been. We had a scary day like that sitting in our basement when the tornadoes came thru here on April 27th, 2011. The first one of the day came thru our neighborhood. We had big trees down all around our house, but none of them hit the house.

Man, that must have been frightening! It is hard to imagine what the wind was like to do that to those trees.

So glad you came through safe. So many weren't lucky enough to have to worry about cleaning up. Hope that everything is put back together soon.
