What’s Working on Wednesday

Thank you for all the encouragement! I actually made a quilt top! I used a Rouenneries Deux by French General charm pack and some yardage from Connecting Threads. This was my usual “start sewing and see where it takes you” type of quilt. I started with 9 four patch blocks.

I added a few other blocks and strips

And here’s the result!

I think I’ll round the corners on this one after quilting.

I’m linking up with WIPs and Whatnot and WIP Wednesday. Why don’t you join me?

Ooops I almost forgot. I never used Google Reader, I read all blogs from my blog list on the right side of my blog. I’m happy to say that is still working, but for all of you who are now using Bloglovin I’m not receiving your posts. I do however get them in an email a day later!

Playing if fun. Sweet little quilt. I signed up for Bloglovin' only as a reader but now use Feedly. Blogger is still the method I use to do blog posts. Lots of folks aren't loving' Bloglovin'. Maybe they should change their name??? I put the email sign up icon back on my side bar for anyone who still wants to find me.

Just playing with simple and sweet can produce some of the prettiest quilts.

Flying by the seat of your pants seemed to work beautifully in putting this quilt top together. I adore French General fabrics.
