What’s Working on Wednesday

I’ve had one of those weeks where I intended to do a lot but not much got done. Let’s see I should have finished my shawl from the Ravelry CAL, but I didn’t. I should have pulled out the aqua/teal scraps, but I didn’t. I should have quilted the stacked coins quilt from Sunday’s post, but I didn’t. What did I do instead? I don’t know. Other than a cleaner house, I can’t tell you what I did.

This week I’m certainly hoping to do better. Starting with joining Sharon’s Let’s Book It.

I’ve chosen this book. Although I’ve used it before there are a few patterns I’d like to try.

I will be making this pattern. I’m thinking it will be a great one to help me use up some scraps.

I think it’s such a good idea to dust off the books and magazine’s I’ve collected and put them to good use. I bet you have some too. Go, check it out.

I’m linking up with Quiltsy and WIP Wednesday today.

This will make a terrific scrappy quilt. I love the movement of the stars. Have fun!!!

Let's book it sounds like it would be very motivational to actually finally get a quilt made from the many patterns I have marked in books.

Sometimes, just kicking back and taking a wider look is what we are supposed to do! These made up ala Char will be awesome!

The stars will be pretty. I tried one of the patterns from this book with parallelograms - well with the stretching on the bias and wonky fits it didn't work at all.
