What’s Working on Wednesday

I couldn’t resist posting this picture of the grosgrain ribbon I just received in the mail. All this lovely color makes me so happy but what makes me even happier is that tomorrow is the first day of Spring! I’m looking forward to lots of beautiful colors in gardens, clothing and quilts!

So with Spring in mind I pulled out these batiks and made a table runner. I will be quilting it today along with another UFO that needs to be finished.

With the scraps I made a mug rug.

If you’re on this side of the world I know you’re probably happy Spring is almost here too. What are you looking forward to this Spring?

I’m linking up with Quiltsy and WIP Wednesday today.

Great batiks! I am SO looking forward to spring but woke up to more snow falling today :( but the crocus are almost easy to bloom under the snow!

Very pretty batik. Looking for spring, but the cold and snow just doesn't want to leave.

Lovely batiks. I like the butterfly print. Spring arrived here a week or two ago so the daffodils and blossom trees are blooming and beautiful. Something I look forward to in spring is watching the birds gather nesting materials. They're so cute!

Wow, love all the bright colors on the ribbon. What are you going to make with them. I think I am drawn to these because it is snowing and very white outside here. Your mug rug is cute, too. Nice projects!

Well I can't wait to see what you're doing with the rainbow of ribbon! My favorite thing about Spring is being able to open the doors and windows and not use the heat!

Those batiks are fabulous Char. I'm usually not a fan of batiks but you've put them together so beautifully. I may just have been inspired!

Love the rainbow of ribbon.
