Quilty Items and a Destash Party

I thought you all would like to see a few things I made before Christmas that have nothing to do with coiled rope. The first three are items I made for an Instagram swap in Nov. Sad I can't show you what I got in the swap because my partner never sent me anything!

I made lots of bags this year small and large. Totes, cross body, cosmetic and wristlets! Totes were the first items I ever sold and I still enjoy making them.

Today I finally had to give in and do a bit of cleaning which took most of the morning hours. Now that I'm finally in the sewing room I hope to actually do some piecing and then quilting so I'll have some colorful items to share.

Some of you may remember I'm on the Quiltsy Team on Etsy. We are having a big destash party. Come check it out!

You are cordially invited to

You made some really lovely pieces for your swap - a shame others are so selfish and devious. I left some swap groups due to this problem years ago. I only do the Santa Sack now. Just love all your wristlets and bags - so you have been sewing all along.

Lovely bags! And I like the bold stitching on your pineapple block in the first photo.

What a drag that you didn't get anything from your swap partner!!
