Swap Blocks

Although they haven't quite made it into a quilt yet, I thought you might like to see the blocks I received last year. The East Coast group on Quilt With Us had a wonky star and house swap. The only restrictions were a cream or white back round.
The first two pictures are some of the blocks I sent out.
The next three are the blocks I received.

I love looking at different blocks for Christmas. People are really creative! These would make such a whimsical interesting quilt.

Oooohhh, what a fun gingerbread house!

Love the new header! What fun it is to quilt and sew in a wintry wonderland!

SO fun to see the wonky and I like how a star and house are paired! The rick rack is a great detail!!!!

I'm so glad I hopped over to look at your Blog today because I love all things wonky! When I was small I loved Rupert the Bear (still do) and one of the stories told of a crooked house wherein everything was crooked, crooked chimney, crooked jug, crooked pictures. I loved it.
Your pictures are great. I truly love them. Well done.
Blessings, Star
