What’s Working on Wednesday and a Giveaway!

I’m finally getting a little sewing done. Now that I’ve limited my time on the computer! I made binding for these quilts. One will be donated, the other goes in my Etsy shop.

Creations 121

I started these blocks yesterday. Don’t know where they’re headed. I’m auditioning fabrics for a background right now. I’m thinking yellow and white. Or maybe beige and brown. What do you think?

Living in apple country there are so many to choose from here. Fuji's are good, but I lean more to the Gala or Cameo.
Happy Birthday Morgan! You have an awesome mom!

Happy Birthday to your daughter - our children get older but we don't!! Love the brown/orange/lime green blocks. I love Pink Lady apples - don't see them too often.

I like Paula Red and Cortland apples

I love the fall colors, and would stick with the beige and brown rather than use white . It doesn't look like there is any white in your flower piece. My favorite apple is the macintosh. Happy Birthday to your daughter. It is hard getting used to the kids not being home for their birthdays.

Happy birthday to your daughter!!
My favorite apple is Pink Lady. Unfortunately, it's only around for a very short time. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your great giveaway.

Oh I can't believe ou asked that! I have to be the only person in the world who hates apples! It's the crunch - a hundred times worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. I have to leave the room if someone is eating an apple. I know I'm weird but what can I say? But I can say I'd love to win a little DS & some floss. Thanks for the chance.

I like your blocks just like you show them in the second picture, set next to each other. No other fabric necessary unless you need to make it bigger.
I like Gala apples and Golden Delicious if they are fully ripe.
Hope Morgan has a great birthday. I know you are very proud of her!

My favorite apple is one that is in a pie, or a crisp, or a strudel. LOL

Love your blog! Missed it this summer while I was on haitus!

Yes, I do like apples. My favorite is the Honey Crisp. They are crunchy, juicy and sweet. I used to pack apples in Eastern Washington back in the 70's. I became really picky about apples. My second favorites are Pink Ladies.

I love apples, especially this time of year. My favorite apple is Honey Crisp. They are not very pretty because every bug loves to sting them. But that's because they are so sweet. Yum! Thanks for the giveaway chance too.

Granny Smith are my favorite dipped in peanut butter or caramel. I hated apples growing up. I still won't eat a mushy red apple though.

LOvely giveaway! I don't eat apples raw very often - not sure why, but we don't get nice fruit here which may be the issue. I do love applesauce though!

What a blessing to have a daughter, but so hard for us moms to have them not under our roof anymore. Mine is 27 and 3 states away, so I miss her all the time. Happy birthday to all. I love Winesap apples, though they are hard to find.
