Yes today is my birthday! I’m long past the age where I like to celebrate so I’m having this giveaway so you can celebrate!
This is the newest line by Denyse Schmidt, Aunt Edna available at Joann. I really love the yellow-gold and gray. Those of you who are interested in purchasing this fabric be warned it’s $12.99 a yard! I used a coupon to purchase it and that only helped a little. I chose 4 FQs of the Far Meadow colorway.
December 30th was the 2 year anniversary of my blog! Since I was still a bit disorganized by the Christmas season I forgot all about it. So I am having a second giveaway of Picnic Parade FQs from my stash.
To enter both giveaways all you need do is answer this question What colors are you looking forward to using in a quilt this year? For me it’s yellow and gray.
I will leave this giveaway open until February 11th and announce the winners on February 12th. The first name pulled will get Aunt Edna, the second Picnic Parade.

Happy Birthday!
I'm always looking forward to doing a quilt in aqua. I have a bird pattern I bought it for, but still haven't started it.
I love the citron and grey - have been collecting so maybe in the Summer I will be inspired!
Happy Birthday - mine is in a couple of days - too old to celebrate!!
I would like to make a black and white quilt with touches of lime green and fuchia.
I am feeling the need for BLASTS of color! I want to work with red, orange, fuschia, teal, royal blue and a deep golden yellow...with some black and white prints to quiet it down a notch.
Happy birthday!
I`d love to make red ,aqua and white quilt.
Hey, Happy Birthday!! :D I'm looking forward to working with red and gold for the first time.
Happy Birthday! I tend to use a lot of muted colors in my quilts but this year I am going to make a quilt with lots of color and a white foundation. I am super excited about it! I had an Aunt Edna - and that fabric LOOKS like her!
I'm looking to use gray & pale blues ... cool & serene! Thanks for the chance (I love both prizes!).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
I'm cutting 6" squares of assorted kids fabrics that will most likely turn into an eye spy type quilt for Miss Bailey. Colors? You name it and they'll be in the quilt.
Happy Birthday Char. I hope you have something wonderful planned for yourself (and don’t forget to pig out on cake – it’s a birthday rite of passage )
Im going to be rocking the greys at some point this year . I have no idea what I’m going to pair it with yet but little visions of stars keep bouncing round in my head so we’ll see what happens.
Hey Char...Happy, Happy Birthday and happy Bloggaversary! I just saw the gray and yellow at Joann's yesterday...fell in love. It's a beautiful colorway.
I'm looking forward to using more gray in my quilts this year. And making my own fabric designs...which has me looking at color in a whole new way.
Enjoy your happy days!
'Happy birthday to you!!!! Happy birthday to you!!! Happy birthday dear Char!!! Happy birthday to you!!!' (In my best singing voice of course!) Hope you have had a truly blessed day. Now, I have yet to attempt quilting, and my favourite colour is red. I would love to try a smaller project to hang on the wall in red, and perhaps aqua, as this is the combination I am mostly drawn to at the moment. I would love to enter your giveaway!
Love orange and pink! loud, but love it!
Happy bday! I like pink and blue together.
Happy Birthday to you. I am looking forward to doing a quilt in orange and yellows.
Sending Birthday wishes your way! Hoping that at least you might decide to have some cake!!! So.... After I finish making a lap quilt for my Aunt's 80th birthday, I want to experiment with bright colours and black - something funky.
Happy Birthday and belated 2nd blog anniversary to you!! I always want to use a little lime green in my quilts but I'm looking forward to new colors - so many beautiful fabrics out there.
I'm looking forward to using red black and white in a quilt. It will be so much fun!
Happy Birthday!! I'm focus on orange, grey and white :)
Happy birthday, and happy blog anniversary! I've got some vintage sheets I've been collecting and I'd love to try some baby quilts with them. :) Thanks for the giveaway chance.
I'm working on a lime green and gray, but I love the yellow gray combination. I picked up some to that DS at our Joanns too. I got the gray dots and the floral one. Doesn't it feel fabulous?
Happy Birthday and Happy Blog Anniversary! I am getting ready to work on a quilt from a Central Park Jely Roll I bought last year and I am loving the olive greens and the fuschias!
I love the gray and yellow combination. One of the colors I am looking forward to though will be different shades of raspberries and purples. A quilt for my daughter's room and that is her favorite. Happy Birthday to you.
I'm going towards earth tones - browns/greens maybe with a splash of yellow.

I don't use a lot of green, but I've been seeing more and more of it, particularly lime-ish green paired with black and white. I think I'd like to give that a try this year. Thanks for the chance to win!! And happy belated birthday!
Happy Birthday Char!
I just saw the Aunt Edna fabric at Joann today. I like the tiny houndstooth print, but also wish they made a black and white that size. I want to make a quilt with black, white and just a little splash of lime green. But first I need to make the blue and brown kit I got for hubby. The throw that I made him several years ago is about worn out.
I'm loving all shades of grey, aqua, fuschia, and my perennial fave red. Love both giveaway sets. Oh, and Happy B-day yesterday!!
I want to make something gray and coral for the guest room bed.
A bit late but Happy Birthday all the same!!
Some great fabrics!
I'm just putting together a 'garden fence' quilt in yellows, oranges and teals but my favourite combo is still red and aqua!
Belated Happy Birthday! I want to make a blue, aqua and green print quilt with either a solid white or grey or both.... I just want to start something new and Springy
Thanks for the giveaway.

Happy happy Birthday! How sweet of you to give a give away on your birthday. We should all be giving to you. :0)
For some reason I'm into red and light aqua together. I've ALWAYS loved red - anything red. I LOVE RED. But I've recently fallen in love with the red/aqua combo, so I do plan to make a quilt with those colors.
Thank you for the chance! :0)
I hope to be using more greens and blues this year with maybe a little pink thrown in for good measure.
Happy belated birthday, to you!!! Hope it was grand. And congratulations on your 2nd year of blogging!!! Quite an accomplishment.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter your great giveaway.
I really want to use some various shades of greys. or is it grays? lol.
I'm thinking greens/greys mixed! oh that'd be nice.
i'm really wanting to use solids more this year.
I have a giveaway going on too, if you wanna pop on by ;)
ends saturday. thanks for the chance sweetie.
Congratulations on your bloggy birthday as well as your own one (again). I'm really want to make a cream and brown quilt this year - using all the different shades of those colours. No idea of design or pattern but that will happen along!
Happy Birthday and Congrats on hittingthe two-year mark! I am excited about using gray this year. I haven't decided if I will pair it with aqua or just black and white, but it will be fun!
Happy Birthday! I am looking to making a red and white quilt. I have one planned for a gift.
For some reason, I keep seeing gray used everywhere but I hear that tangerine is all the rage so I'd love to be able to use that combination some how. Thanks for the opportunity to win your generous giveaway and Happy Birthday!
Black and white with splashes of color. I made a purple, black and white wonky log cabin last year and liked it way more than I expected. I'd like to make more. Happy Birthday, even if you aren't celebrating. Hey, each year is an achievement! Thanks for the giveaway.
Red and white! Lots of red and white.
I do like the yellow and gray but $12.99 per yard. That is more expensive than quilt shop fabric.
My colors would be mustard, burgandy, and gray. I heard about that color combination and immediately was drawn to it. I hope you pull my name first. Thanks for the chance.
Happy belated birthday! I am looking forward to using colour - just that! But I do love yellow and grey. Thanks for a chance in your draw.
I would like to use some sky blue and red florals with, perhaps, a bit of gray. I don't usually use much blue, but this combo looks so lovely together.
I'm planning to make a baby quilt with pink and yellow together. Thanks for the giveaway!
Happy Birthday!
I would like to make a Red, White and Blue quilt for my son that served in the military for 6 years.
I want to make a orange, grey, and aqua quilt for myself. And I know I want to do something in jewel tones for my mother.
I would like to use black, orange and white
Happy Blogiversary! What a very fun giveaway. I am looking forward to making a quilt in blue and brown.
Happy Birthday!
I am looking forward to doing something with strong colors...nothing pastel or washed out looking.
Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.
I have some purple fabric and I would love to make a quilt using that and some grey fabric. Maybe adding a bit of green too but definitely purple and the grey spectrum.
I'd like to use more aquas and greys in my quilts this year. Thanks for a chance to win this great fabric. :)
I am anxious to start a red and aqua quilt. I have been waiting for someone to have a baby girl and it has finally happened. Thank you for a very generous giveaway.
I'm looking forward to using greens and blues, something fresh and soft. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I am about to cut into some blue fabric which just thrills my heart. It's Midnight Garden and I'm excited. Happy Birthday!
Happy Belated Birthday and congratulations on your second blog anniversary! I am excited about making a quilt using bold black-and-white fabrics. I have already made two blocks. This will be a BOM project.
