Didn’t get much sewing done this week. I spent lots of time packing and labeling Christmas decorations so I won’t have to look through every container next year!
I did make this little block which doesn’t seem to be going any further. It’s really a rectangle.
I did make 2 more string blocks to create this block and I think I might just make a few of these each month. We’ll see, it will surely make for a colorful quilt at the end of the year.
A little while ago I won a giveaway over at Pam’s blog. Look what I received not one,
but two beautiful bags!
I love them! I’ve been using the second one as my yarn project bag. It has enough pockets for my markers scissors and hooks. Thank you Pam!
Don’t forget the giveaway is in it’s third week. Make sure to enter, next week will be the last week.
I’m linking up with RSC14. Go see what everyone else is doing.

I'm loving the blue string block. I've been stringing along today and have quite a stack. What a great win!!!
I like the way you are setting your string blocks. Very nice win bags!
Great blue strings! I'll be having a giveaway next Saturday, maybe you will be lucky again.
Love, love, love how you handled the sashing in your string quilt! Makes me (almost) want to take apart the one I am sewing now.
I love your string block. This is such a simple layout it' brilliant and the smashing pulls it all together.
Correction to my earlier comment:
No broken plates here.
This automatic spelling checker has clearly never heard of SASHING!
Now we lost the correction. This had better be third time lucky.
It's brilliant and the sashing pulls it all together.
String blocks are always good
What size is the string block?
