Friday Scrapbag
Happy, happy Friday! I must confess I haven't gotten much sewing done this week. I've just been doing a lot of nothing. It's not like I spent time cleaning the house or anything! I did start a little cross body bag to carry my ID in while I'm riding my bicycle. (it's almost finished). The Batik fabric in the HSTs below is leftover from the Sea Foam Slide show quilt. That's what's on the design wall (along with a few stray threads). These blocks will become a table runner. Hopefully.
I thought you might like to see the last of my Clematis. At one time I had four, but unfortunately the white one was eaten by beetles. This one has wound itself around a Firecracker Weigela.
Have a beautiful weekend!

The table runner is coming on very well. I made myself a skirt and top in some very similar material to the sea foam design. Lovely colours, aren't they.
Blessings, Star
your clematis is beautiful! I go through weeks like that too, where it seems nothing gets done :)
Hey-- I linked up to your blog. Thanks for the link on that fabric. As you can see, I bought a ton!
The colors remind me of the shoreline! Very calming and peaceful!
What a beautiful flower...and Batik - its my favorite :)
