This is the lovely pink Hydrangea my sister gave me on Easter.
Here is the same Hydrangea with one of it's new blooms today!
Now I know that Hydrangeas turn color depending on the acidity of the soil. Below is a picture of one of my older pink Hydrangeas, which gets blooms in any color from Fuchsia to Violet.

The fact that the new one went right from pink to blue, was shocking. I don't have any info on this plant. Do you have any ideas?

I love hydrangeas but mine are only ever pink or white. I used to have a red dwarf hydrangea but the dogs ate it...that's a story for another day!
Hydrangeas are the only flowers I dont kill!
Pretty quilt. Wow that's an amazing hydrangea. I do know the soild decides the color...adding rusty nails to the soil is supposed to change the color too. I've never been able to get one to go blue.
