After days and days of trying to ignore it, I've finally realized that I have to "undo " the tree! Every time I come down stairs from my sewing room it's still there. I 've tried cleaning the upstairs, cleaning out my sewing room closet (bad idea) winding yarn to get ready for crochet projects. Nothing worked. It's not going to magically disappear, even though I thought that's how it worked! So that's what I'm doing today and I hope to have a few hours left at the end of the day to get some sewing done. Maybe, if I'm really lucky.
Don't forget the giveaway! There could be another coming up soon, as I have a birthday at the end of the month.

LOL - I agree. Undecorating is not fun and goes so s-l-o-w, compared to the decorating part. I didn't put up as many decorations this year because I just didn't want to have to put them all away again. By the way, your tree is lovely!
Step 1 ) Buy a HUGE box about 5 feet wide by about 9 feet long.
Step 2 ) Place entire Christmas tree (still up and decorated ) in aforementioned box.
Step 3 ) Tape it up and shove box in basement.
I hate de-christmas-sing the house too.
A bore of a chore! This year, I somehow convinced the kids that it would be a fun activity for them to do, and they saved me from an hour of UGH!
I've managed to get the ornaments off my tree, but it's still standing up waiting to be put back in the attic. I just can't get up enough energy to break it down! Perhaps if I thought there was fabric behind it..... ;-)
I was so tickled when I came home last week and SEan had put it all away, that was the best present he could have given me. Hope you have luck in getting sewing in! Love the banner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our little tree is still up too -- It needs to come down this weekend!
