Well I put a few red scraps together with a bit of iron on Peltex and made these bookmarks that I've made many many times before.
This next project is a mess! I don't know where it's going. I thought I had an idea, but it doesn't want to go in that direction. You know, it has a mind of it's own. I should have expected as much. I don't care for the red rose fabric at all. I don't like the color. When I ordered it last Oct. I thought it was a bit more on the pink side. Which would have been great as I was collecting fabric for a pink charm swap. Well as you can see it's not pinkish it's kind of and orangey red.

Well, I suppose if you don't love a fabric, then used up is the best place for it to be. I think it is quite pretty, though I do see what you mean about it being too orange.
There are so many varieties of "red"...from bluish red to orangey red to pinkish red...it's hard to tell until you see the fabric in daylight what you're getting.
Love those bookmarks. What a cute idea.
hi Char!
I would love those blocks if you just want to be rid of them...lol. They are gorgeous and orange is a favorite color! Anyhoo, they look fabulous!

Your bookmarks look nice, and I bet you will turn your rose-fabric project into something beautiful, also.

Bookmarks a great idea to fill the smaller remnats.
And I have the same problem are such a variety of red and my job is a real puzzle.
A big hug
Hi, your bookmarks are very nice. And maybe you can find a good use for the rose-fabric block.
I don't know....I think they look pretty darn good.
I love the red bookmarks. I'd never thought of making bookmarks from fabric. Also I like the rose fabric - I'm kind of partial to that orangey red color.
I like your bookmarks :) I also like your kaliedescope orangey red partial block. Maybe you could make it into a bag panel. Try using a complimentary colour for the background... would a blue work with it? I haven't got my colour wheel handy. Hmm I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Elly
