I think I need a little help here. The orange and blue creation is still on the wall. I keep adding and taking away the white strips. I'm thinking now I might want to use white strips between the vertical rows. What do you think? I 've got to get this finished. It's holding up about 5 other ideas that are waiting for the design wall.
I'm still working on the tumblers in the evenings. Here is a close up of the hand stitching on the January Rainbow Challenge wall hanging.

I don't think the blue works with the blocks and a white might be too much. A cream or even a cocoa brown? My 2 cents.

Those blocks are great, love the fabrics,orange is my favourite colour! I have always liked orange and blue together but everyone else seems to be cheerleading cream. I do like vrooman's brown suggestion though. Orange and Brown is very retro, which I think might go with the patterns on those fabrics. Hope you manage to find something that works for you.
