I have joined V’s 15 Minutes of Play mini swap. I’m working on my mini which is supposed to be a 12x12 quilt. Who this mini is going to is a secret, but we are allowed to show the process. I’m having lots of fun with this because I chose my favorite color palette, brights with black and white.
I showing another UFO today at Sharon’s request. These butterfly blocks have been sitting around forever. I found the pattern in Leisure Arts Presents Quick and Easy Scrap Quilts. I’m kind of sorry I chose such a plain background fabric. Now that I’ve taken it out, I going to challenge myself to finish it by the end of the year! Thanks Sharon, I think?
HAPPY QUILTING!!!!!

Love you mini progress. Oh,, very pretty butterflies - it's good you are getting them out to set them free.
There's some wonderful colours and ideas there Char. The butterflies are just gorgeous.
I'm finding patchwork very addictive. I'm more used to knitting so it's a bit like entering another world.
Interesting how one can't tell what size those blocks are. 12 x 12 is quite small really. The quilt looks enormous in the picture.
Well done you.
your blocks look great. I love all the color in the strip blocks.
Love the butterflies! You will have a very pretty quilt when you get them all done. The mini is wonderful - very interesting!
Your secret quilt looks great I really like the setting.
The butterflies are adorable! I have some tulips on a similar background and wish it was something else....
Love the brights. They look like such fun to make up!
I have some butteflies kicking around somewhere waiting to be appliqued into a quilt. Yours are lovely.
