Check it out!! OLD DOG LEARNS NEW TRICK!!!!!!!
I had forgotten how many points there are when making a quilt with half square triangles. So while working on the Katie quilt I decided to try something different. Instead of using the iron to press after each seem I just finger pressed where the seems were joined.
It worked perfectly! I wish I could show you a picture of Katie finished but that is proving to be difficult. I needed yardage of one of the prints for the border. I thought I’d found it twice but I guess the inventories were incorrect. I did finally settle for a different print which I hope to have any day now. Fingers crossed!
I liked the finger pressing results so much I used it again yesterday on this quilt made with Fandango. This time I already have the border fabric.
