Today what’s working is me trying to find a way to rearrange my closet uh sewing room so I’ll have more room to quilt larger quilts. It’s really a case of trying to put 10lbs. of you know what into a 5lb. bag!

I hope you enjoyed the tour. Any ideas, besides blowing it up and starting over? Looks pretty hopeless to me. Think I’ll just close the door and comeback tomorrow!

love the tomorrow approach!
There's a lot of stuff in your room but I'm confident you can stack it all somewhere to get the space you need.
I quite often "come back tomorrow " when Im trying to work out how to create space too!
It looks very organized, but I feel your pain! My sewing room is going through a major transformation right now. I brought in more storage, which meant taking everything out of one cabinet just so it would be easier to move. Moved it to the other side of the room, moved the new one into the spot where the other one was, which hubby just does not understand! Now to sort through everything in boxes before it goes back into the cabinets.
HA HA - well it looks better than mine. I have a portable table that I set up in my living room that I machine quilt on - need that space and support of all the quilt weight.
It looks like you are working well with what you got.
I agree with Carrie, you seem to have areas organised and you will know where to find everything. A friend of mine moves her sewing machine onto the dining room table to quilt larger quilts, and also those tables that have fold up/down wings/flaps are very handy for creating temporary larger sewing areas. Can you put overflow into a wardrobe in another room maybe?
Look at all those minis adorning the walls! I love it!
