I’ve been wanting to make a quilt with small and large dots for a while now. So I took one small and one large dot Riley Blake cotton dots charm pack and tada!
Now I have a problem. I’d like to make it larger and I don’t have any yardage of these dots in my stash, so I have to order more charms to complete it.
Since I wasn’t going to be finishing the dots this week I thought I’d dig out another UFO! You might remember this if you’ve been following for a while. Here’s a post from 2013 at which time it had already become a UFO. (sad, but true)
It looks like I had squares in mind for this quilt, but I don’t remember.
So I made HSTs using this method.
Stitched around all four sides.
Cut one way on diagonal.
Cut the other way on the diagonal,
and press! Four easy HSTs.
I’m linking up with WIP Wednesday.

My favorite color -- POLKA DOTS! :o)
I adore polka dots and I like your idea with big and small ones. Don't you love that method of making HSTs? Your quilt is going to be charming!
I love the mixed dots! I made one with large dots, and sashing between the blocks, but I really love the mix you have!!
What a great mix with the dots! Clever blocks, our group made pinwheels like this a while back and loved them!
You have lovely work and great sence of color Visiting from WIP Wednesday, Hope you stop by and enter my giveaway.
Love the polka dots. Like the way you do your hst's but I'd be scared at all those bias edges. I have a nasty habit of stretching them no matter how careful I am.
When I leave a WIP/UFO for any length I always put a note in the container referencing the pattern I was going to make or a quick pencil sketch xxx
