Ugh

Well March didn't start out so bad, I had lots of plans! I had some quilt ideas rolling around in my head, table runner ideas and of course bowls.
So I pulled out my green scraps because the RSC19 color is green. I really like green, especially lime, chartreuse. I made this little pincushion. The pattern is from Carrie Nelson's book Pin Pals.

After completing this little pinnie it was all down hill. The hubby got sick and I'm sure you understand the "man cold" thing. So needless to say I didn't get a lot more finished. I did get to work on one more of my big ideas though before I came down with whatever this crud is that's going around. I made a multicolored rope tote bag.

I enjoyed making this tote. It's actually the second tote I've made. The first one was much larger, I used approx. 180 yards of rope. On this smaller one I used about 84 yards and many, many batik strips!
This week I've been trying to get over the last of this illness, I still have a bit of a cough but I was able to add a few rows to this shawl.

I'm excited to see what the color will be for April. Go check out Angela and the other RSC19 makers

The little pin cushion is so cute it just wants to be cuddled. I’m impressed with the basket you made especially using all those yards and yards of batiks. Hope you and the family are all getting back to health.
