A Little More Sew-Jo

Although the sew-jo isn't fully back I did do a little with the green scraps this week. I pulled out the scrap bin and found a better variety of greens.

So I finished the 5 1/2" strip blocks and the half square triangle blocks.

While going through my blocks from previous years I discovered the 8 1/2" half square triangle blocks. So I made a few more. With any luck there will be enough for a quilt soon.

I also found a bunch of these colorful strips, don't know where this was headed. Hmmm

Today I plan to finish up the quilting on my "After Masks" quilt. It was made with lots of scraps from the masks I made during Covid. That is of course if I don't get comfy in a chair and crochet!

I'm linking up with the RSC as usual. Enjoy your Valentine's day! 💖

Using up crumbs is always a plus & finding the colorful strips means you can now design a new quilt. Since you don't remember where it was headed, it's an opportunity for new creativity! Bonus!

I sure like your efforts to make with green! Agree that with just a few more blocks you'll have enough for a quilt. What a good feeling to use-up like that, right? And I really like those colorful short scraps. Seems like you were headed toward something great with those. I hope you keep going. Though, I sure understand the appeal of just sitting to crochet (or knit, in my case). I am seldom without a knitting project in my hands these days, even while watching Olympic curling (that I adore) on TV.

Great green blocks, Char. Little by little makes a quilt, eventually.
