I haven’t had much time to sew or blog lately. Lots of family things going on now. One major event was held on Friday, the senior Prom. A wonderful time was had by all and my daughter has spent the rest of the weekend recovering.
Now on to the next 2 events, graduation and preparing for college. I keep telling myself I’m going to survive this year.
I did have time to finish this pincushion for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. This months color is pink!

What a pretty pincushion. :D
And boy, can I relate to your events! Our daughter is graduating this Thursday, and then heading off to a distant state for college.
What a lovely pincushion, I love the oval in the centre
You WILL survive. There is just a lot going on in that senior year.
The pincushion is lovely.
Enjoy this special time with your daughter. Senior year is often bittersweet. One moment you may be filled with pride for their accomplishments and the next, lamenting on one of the many "last time to do this" moments. You will get through it and then move on to the next phase. Thankfully you have your quilting to keep you busy. That is what I turned to when my son started college. It is still what keeps me grounded these several years later as he has graduated and moved on in the "real world".
Love the pincushion Char.
Im assuming the fact that it took a weekend to recover means your daughter had a great time?
Such a sweet little cushion. Everything in pink looks so delicate and feminine.
Senior year is a busy one. My homeroom is full of seniors this year, and it is fun trying to keep up with all the goings on. We have already had Prom, Grad Bash and Baccalaureate, next week is Graduation. Such an exciting time!
Congratulations on all the fun events. That pincushion is darling. Did that clen up all your pink scraps?
Your pin cushion is so pretty!

I have missed you. So good to see you posting again. Senior years are amazing, in so many ways. We did BBQ's for our kids' after graduation celebration, then off to their senior parties they would go. Our DD had tonsilitis at graduation and barely got permission from the doc to attend the ceremony. Definitely memorable. She was in the hospital right after for the surgery.
Your pin cushion turned out so cute!
