Today I’m squealing with delight! I received my quilt from the Something for Nothing mini swap. I absolutely love it! It’s so colorful, just the kind of quilt I like! My quilt was made by Judy from Quilts of Mimi Park. After I take a few more pictures I’m going to hang it in front of my Juki where I can see it everyday. Thank you so much Judy!!!
This is the first quilt swap for me and it was so much fun. Thanks “V “ for organizing the swap!
I am also happy to say I was a winner in the May For Me giveaway on Marcia’s Crafty Sewing blog. I won this beautiful set of photo quilt note cards made by Marcia. Aren’t they beautiful? She sells these and others on her website.
On the quilting front, I used 2 different charm packs of Sweet Remembrance from Connecting threads to make this easy baby quilt for charity. While auditioning fabrics for borders I noticed a “little problem block”. Do you see it? If you don’t, it’s the yellow HST block on the lower right. See it now? Hmmmm, guess I’ll be frogging again!

So fun, Char! I got my block from V's swap over the weekend also and love it!!! Doesn't it feel good to be part of a community that is so creative and giften and GIVING!!!!!! Love you, Em
I love the movement you feel when looking at that block.
Congrats on the cards - aren't they just lovely! That's where cameras are so great - someone told me to photo block lay outs so you could see them better - and to catch your 'oops' before assembling.
ooh! love squishies!!! ;-) glad you enjoyed the swap!
Wonderful squishes, and charity quilt. As you can see, I'm catching up on blogs after a long absence...
