I know I’ve shared with you before about my daughters lack of interest in quilting. Well guess what? She decided on work study at college and wouldn’t you know it she was given a job with the drama dept. working on costumes! The job requires machine sewing but also lots of hand sewing. Recently she had to make this doll (her own design) for an auction to benefit Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia.
I am going to try to win this doll in the auction. I’d really love to have it since it’s her first one. She new how badly I wanted it so for Christmas I got Shelia!
Named by my DH she has been keeping me company in my sewing room and hopefully waiting for her sister to arrive!
There’s still time to enter the giveaway!

Hope you win the auction! What a cute set you will then have of your DD's handiwork.
Good Luck with the auction. Wouldnt it be lovely to keep the family together!
She did a really good job. Maybe some of her mother's sewing genes are lurking deep down !(and they'll pop out again when you least expect it )
