More Coiled Rope

Not a lot of sewing was done this week. It was just one of those weeks where I just wasn't feeling inspired. Although by Thursday my sew jo was coming back.
I did add a few blocks to my ongoing economy block quilt last Saturday.

So I've finished 24 blocks and I have many, many more to go.
I did make a few epp apple core pieces with Liberty lawn.

On Saturday I finished my evening crochet project which was a test for a Ravelry designer. It still needs to be blocked. The pattern has been published, it's Vintage Modern. It's 50% off until Aug. 1st

And of course I made bowls on Thursday and Friday.

The Beanie bowl was a custom order. The others are in my shop.
We are expecting extremely high temps for the next six days. As I won't be leaving the house, I should get lots of sewing done!!

Hazy Summer Days!

My hubby has been on vacation this week and doing lots of yard work. I've been busy this week finishing up a custom order of coiled rope bowls.

I'm starting a Liberty EPP scrap project which will be mostly hand stitched. It's part of the "Liberty scrap challenge" on Instagram sponsored by Ave and Neve.

I started 2 scrap quilts before Covid that I was hoping would be ongoing for the year. They have both been on hold for a bit while I made masks. I have a ton of scraps, I'm just trying to make a bit of a dent in the pile!

I hope to be able to show some progress on these quilts and finish the crochet test I'm working on so I can start a new shawl next week.

It's Summer in Hatfield Pa.

It's beginning to get hot here in beautiful Hatfield Pa. I don't do hot, never did! Although I do like my flowers so that requires me to be out in the heat from time to time. Lots of things are blooming right now. Do you have a favorite flower?

I've made a few red, white and blue items for my shop this year. Most of them sold, with the bowls going first.

I'm still crocheting in the evenings. Right now I'm testing a shawl for a Ravelry designer. I'm also trying to learn Tunisian crochet. Hopefully an old dog can learn new tricks!

Have a great weekend!! 🎆
