I had time to work a bit with my blue scraps this week. It got me thinking that I don’t really like my original plan. I’m going to continue with my 9 patch blocks and also the improv blocks. I’m going to make strips every month for a Martin’s Pennies quilt.
I didn’t get a chance to work on my blue table runner. I knew after Christmas I needed a new runner for my dining room table. I want a Kawandi quilt which will take some time. I considered using batiks but I don’t like hand stitching batiks. So I’m leaning towards liberty scraps in blue. If you haven’t guessed the dining room is blue!

Pretty blues Char! I've heard about Kawandi quilts but never looked into what it really is about. Had to do a search and I think a Kawandi TR in blues would look great.
I think a Kawandi runner sounds like a good project to start. The pennies and HSTs are looking good too!
