Saturday Greens

Well since it’s 7 degrees and very windy here it’s not like I was going out! So I forced the sew-Jo to get going. I pulled some scraps from the first green bin and found them to be a bit dark.

I did manage to complete one of the blocks with the low volume borders. I'll definitely get some lighter colors from the other bin. These are depressing! 😄 It's enough to scare the sew-jo away again!

I'm linking up with RSC today. Check out what others are making and enjoy your weekend.

Lots of dark green! You need some granny smiths and chartreuses! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I didn't find these greens too dark, it will be interesting to see if you find some other bits that are lighter.

Good for you to sit down at your sewing machine to try to find your sew-jo. Sadly, I can relate to how you're feeling about it. Isn't it interesting that February is green? Makes me wonder what March's color will be. In any case, don't beat yourself up about these blocks. Keep going! I have no doubt these darker values will play well among the other green blocks you'll make, and thereby make the quilt top look wonderful.

They may look dark, but together with lighter green they won't. Depending on how many blocks on each color you need.
