It’s been a weather headline couple of weeks. We’ve had lots of snow which was covered in ice and temperatures in the single digits. I know lots of the country has experienced this weather. I guess I shouldn’t complain because it’s been years since we actually had winter weather here. Still all I can say is, come on Spring!
I’ve crocheted 3 hats.
I've also finished two books. The Widow by John Grisham which I enjoyed and We Don't Talk About Carol which I also enjoyed.
I celebrated my 71st birthday on Jan, 29th and received lots of flowers.
I'm hoping to get some sewing done soon. My sew-jo has been gone for so long I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get it back.
The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for February is green. I have lots of green scraps so we'll see what happens. 😏

Oh, the cold. I KNOW! Here in Central Florida, we've been waking up to the 20s and 30s for more than two weeks now.... and that's unheard of! I do feel a little bit sorry for the friends and family who have come to visit, and can't even lay beside the swimming pool. If it gets into the 50s though, they're out there! The caps you've crocheted are so nice. Do you sell them? Or donate them? And I have to say, I know exactly what you mean about losing your sew-jo. I've felt mine floating away too. I recently read a short book about being a creative ("Steal Like an Artist" by Austin Kleon), and he says that to get back to it, you "just" do it. Go to your sewing machine and start sewing anything. I need to take that advice too! Happy 71st birthday to you, Char! I'm happy for you to have received beautiful flowers. I hope your day was special. And I'm glad to know you're only 23 months younger than me. :-)
