Green Scraps and Purple Bowls

I did mange to get a bit of sewing in this week. I played around with my green scraps and completed these half square triangle blocks.

Each month I've had a few of these half square triangles left over so I'm thinking maybe a nice colorful pinwheel quilt at the end of the year.

I worked on a new bowl with leather handles.

I also finally put the finishing touches on this one that's been sitting around for a while.

I'm linking up with Angela.

Enjoy your weekend!

It's a good idea to make squares with leftover scraps so to always be quilt ready! Luv your fabric bowls!

You make the most lovely bowls!

A colourful pinwheel quilt using up your HSTs sounds wonderful. I always admire anyone who has the patience and the ability to make those rope bowls, great work, not sure if I could manage them.

Pretty bowls as always Char! Great idea to add leather handles. Pretty green blocks and a colorful pinwheel quilt sounds great. I was looking at my pink leftover HST from February RSC, got an idea for a TR, maybe... :)

Oh Char! You MADE me look at your blog post! I just had to know what a "scarp" is! Ha, ha. Love seeing your green scraps, and because I'm a push-ver for pieced triangles, I love what you're doing. As always, you make beautiful bowls. Though I've been tempted to try making them myself, I never have. It's fun to see yours.
